Bubble Chairs

5 years after creating the iconic Ball Chair, Eero Aarnio goes back to the drawing board with the release of the 1968 Bubble Chair. The only thing similar is the shell and cushion shape. The Shell of the bubble chair itself is made from transparent Acrylic. The chair was released in 2 styles; a ceiling mount and a Stand mount version. Both featured synthetic industrial modern silver cushion upholstery. Now an icon, the Bubble Chair has risen to iconic status, representing the freedom of unconventional, unabashed mid century modern design.
